Born and bred right here in the Illawarra, Klayten has always had an interest in real estate, buying his first property at the age of 19. That interest has now turned into his passion, and he loves nothing more than helping people achieve their real estate dreams. Be it a first home, upsize, downsize or investment property, Klay can use his many years of experience to help you achieve those goals. When not at work, “Klay” loves spending time with his daughter Havarnii and son Hutchence, taking advantage of everything this beautiful region has to offer. Began my Real Estate career in 2007 before technology became a major role in the industry. I was given a desk, handed a phone book and told to start finding houses to sell! Back then, we would take our own photos, put up our own signs and deliver our own fliers. After staying loyal and working for the same company for 8 years, I took the leap and started my own company. After interviewing most of the major franchises, we decided we didn't see the point of answering to a higher power that didn't understand our local market, and never being able to customise a strategy or campaign the way a property needed. I believe every property is unique and there is more than one way to sell a property. For the next 8 years we grew to being the largest Independent Real Estate Agency in the Illawarra known as "Illawarra Estate Agents". I can honestly say, I am proud of what we achieved but can also admit we got so big, I had taken on a roll I no longer enjoyed. After serious consideration, I decided to sell the business and go back to doing what I love most, focusing solely on sales and my clients. I have a passion for sales, and being the owner and licensee of such a large company truly takes that personal side of it away.
